The Gold Digger

We've all heard of gold diggers, young women looking for rich older men, well this isn't that type of story. It happened one night when my boyfriend and I were at my sister and her boyfriends house for dinner. My sisters boyfriend little girl lilah was sitting in the living room as were we all. We were watching t.v and talking doing the usual.
   Lilah was sitting with Meg and her dad. Lilah being a little kid stuck her fingers in her nose. I looked and meg and said,"She must be digging for gold." Meg looked at lilah and said what are you doing?  Lilah in return said. "I'm digging for gold."

friends forever?

I had two of the greatest friends, at least until I found out I was pregnant.(Yes I am a teenage mother, but I did play it on the safe side, but birth control isn't 100% in preventing pregnancy.) They did the whole "We will always be there for you, and we won't ditch you." bit. Well by the time summer had rolled around zoom they were out of there! I would call or txt them and barely got a hold of them. I was lonely and really needed some one to talk to. Yes I had family but hey sometimes you need to talk to a friend, But I didn't have any. I waited for months to see if they would visit, One friend came to my baby shower, then didn't show up til the birth with the other friend. That was it. the last time I really saw them. It really sucks not having friends. I mean I saw them at grand march for prom they said hey then kinda went away and didn't talk after that. It really pisses me off the fact that I was there for both of them through all there hard times and they ditched me through mine. Friends forever? I don't think so. I believed that we would be friends for ever, but I guess that would be the mind of a teenager,thinking your friends would be your friends forever, but i mean after you graduate high school (which I am this month) you do lose touch. If I knew that this is how I would be treated by them I wouldn't have become friends with them.
